Our Mindful Sensory Lab after-school club is a calm, nurturing and engaging programme designed especially for children aged 4–8 years.
Each session is based around a seasonal theme, encouraging children to explore what they see, feel, and experience. Term 1 we will explore Autumn and Winter topics such as fruit picking in orchards, leaves in nature and igloos.
The afternoon includes hands-on sensory play using tough trays and carefully planned sensory play activities that support creativity, curiosity and fine motor development and mindfulness. Sessions end with a calm wind-down and preparation for home time.
The programme has been developed by social workers with the core focus on sensory exploration, emotional regulation, emotionally development, inclusivity and delivered in a safe and supportive environment.
** Please note there are 13 lessons in term 1 starting Sept 3 - Dec 10. There is one more lesson in the term that there are student conferences that the school will shortly confirm which date this is. For now, we have taken off this 1 lesson as Dec 9, although we will have club this day.**

The Science Camp – Terms & Conditions
Cancellations, Refunds & Rescheduling Bookings are only valid upon written confirmation from The Science Camp. Cancellations made at least 2 weeks prior to the first session are eligible for a refund minus a €20 administrative fee. Cancellations within 2 weeks of the start date are non-refundable, unless a replacement is found. Once the club has started, no refunds are provided for withdrawal, unless a replacement is arranged. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing with childs details, event or school/club details via email to: info@thesciencecamp.nl
Photography & Media Consent We may take photos or videos during activities for promotional use. No identifiable images of children will be used without signed parental consent. Consent forms are presented at the start of events or through registration platforms.
