The Science Camp – Terms & Conditions

Updated and effective from 12 May 2025 The Science Camp is an educational business designed to provide children with an opportunity to explore science in a safe, engaging, and fun environment. By booking or registering your child for any activity provided by The Science Camp, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Eligibility The Science Camp is open to children aged 4 to 11 years.

2. Registration & Confirmation Registration is confirmed once payment has been received in full, unless otherwise agreed in writing via email.

3. Cancellations, Refunds & Rescheduling Bookings are only valid upon written confirmation from The Science Camp. Cancellations made at least 2 weeks prior to the first session are eligible for a refund minus a €20 administrative fee. Cancellations within 2 weeks of the start date are non-refundable, unless a replacement is found. Once the club has started, no refunds are provided for withdrawal, unless a replacement is arranged.

General Cancellation Terms All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing with childs details, event or school/club details via email to: info@thesciencecamp.nl

4. Medical Conditions Please inform us in writing of any medical conditions or special needs at the time of registration. While we will do our best to accommodate individual needs, staff do not administer medication. All children participate at their own risk, and proper care is taken to ensure safety during all experiments and activities.

5. Conduct & Supervision All participants are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly. Misconduct may result in removal from the program. This will be done in consultation with parents/guardians where possible. Parents or guardians are responsible for supervision unless agreed otherwise for drop-off events.

6. Photography & Media Consent We may take photos or videos during activities for promotional use. No identifiable images of children will be used without signed parental consent. Consent forms are presented at the start of events or through registration platforms.
